    I take it you have a parts motor. Take a look how they plumb the primer...is their one tube to the carb and one to the intake? You might have to pull the intake too.

    It's a conundrum. Do you have your little rubber gasket in the bottom of the bowl that goes up against it?

    Pretty sure his starter is working, just his motor won't run. Needs instructions on how to test his ignition components with newer style testing equipment.

    More likely stator than coil packs.... When this all happens are the plugs wet when you look at them?

    No, your right. 1967 6 HP Wouldn't come up the normal way. Strange. Assuming it's been sitting, change the water pump, clean the carb and check spark. Ignition system is points and condensers under the flywheel.

    You purchased the correct plugs, gap them to .30

    Start by doing a compression check and then checking for spark. My hunch is you lost spark for some reason.
