    I mean the motor might be done. Fuel pump works off of the crankcase, with your low compression it may no longer work. Spit balling really.

    Funny, when I pulled the parts breakdown for that motor it didn't look like that. Where did you get that breakdown?

    Most people say junk. Better to rebuild....easy. 50 psi is not good. Check with another tester or test your tester on something else. It might be done.

    Winterize

    Remove the air box cover and run the motor. Spray the fogging oil down the throats of the carburators until it smokes like hell and shut it off. Make sure the motor is tilted down and the water is all drained out. Your winterized. Instructions should be on the cans.

    Congrats, probably about to be back on the water. I say keep the old rectifier but get rid of or replace the pissed off wife. They cost more!!! Yes, clean up the magnets. Cheers

    Shouldn't matter much. By the way, you want your motor running somewhat cool....shoot the top of the head with an IR gun.

    No tell tale. You will just see water coming out the exhaust ports in back. Make sure your overheat alarms are working.

    Wow Crosbyman, Look at all those plastic parts and fragile wires.....amazing it works or lasts at all! I love how he wants you to just clean videl components when really things should just get replaced. How about sucking on the air release nipple?? Probably taste pretty good huh! Nice video...

    In 91 or 92 on the 6 and 8 hp and others, they moved the shifter to the front and put the low speed idle mixture screw inside as well as other things. When I first saw the motor I said to myself....."that has to be an 80's motor"
