    What might be happening is your hearing the relay click but the relay is ot providing power to the starter solenoid Need a voltmeter to find out if the starter solenoid is actually getting 12V when key is turned to start

    Doesn't have to be, but that is where it normally is placed. Just want to know where it is now. The accelerator pump can be moved if more fuel is needed. The power valve is what is used to transition from just above idle to more power.

    The manifold is aluminum and maybe what is actually causing the leak, but time will tell once apart. Removing the manifold will allow the heating to be done faster (less heat sinking) but then you have an issue of the gasket. I might try a heat gun before Map

    It has a 4bbl but which 4bbl? GM started using electronic ignition in 1975, and don't remember if the 400 came in HEI or points Being intermittent in most cases that would lean me toward electrical With it sometimes happen after a shift, look at the modulator and vacuum line

    Plug the hose going to the thermostat housing from the water pump Plug hoses going to exhaust manifold s and elbows. Install a schrader valve and pressure gauge to one of the hoses to be plugged. Pressurize to 15 psi

    You said pipe coming from bell housing but I only see what appears to be a hose. Pipe or hose I don't know why it would be attached to the bell

    Issue Picked up a Bushnell X65 spotting scope and i works but talk about vibration issues. Does not take anything to move the scope and mess up the view a 100+ yards Looking into cameras to show real time shots but that to has issues Anyone have history of things that work?

    Yes, standard heat hose will work so long as it's not a suction line. If you have a Alpha drive then none of the hoses are suction
