Staying warm on boat in the winter

I don't know of a way that wouldn't cost a bunch or be noisy, both would use a 400 watt electric heater. Don't know how long power will be needed Noisy - Get a 1000 watt gas Gen (under $200) and place it on the swim deck Costly - Get a LiFePO4 Battery ($1000) to power the inverter, don't use...

    Water leak into bilge

If motor is cracked, freeze plug is missing or Y pipe has a hole it will leak just sitting in the water. Need to find where it's leaking. Take it to a shop and let them find it for maybe $100 to $150 Pulling motor $500 to $1000, depends on where you are

What rifle to scope for hunting?

Most like the 5.56 due to cheap ammo, but something with a bit more punch, real flat and gun and can find them cheaper is the Savage 6.5 Creedmoor

Bummer If I would have known you had not hauled it home yet that would be close to me first response. Folks just don't think about the bearings on a boat trailer until something happens. Car trailer would be good for thousands of miles, boat trailer might not be good for 100 if water got into...

The boats not going to just fall apart Make sure the bilge pump is in good working order, and if it doesn't keep turning on every so often you can more then likely just keep going

    1998 Regal 1700 LSR Advice

Manufacture made a cheap boat. Being a ski locker it would always have water in it, so over time the water penetrated. Might get lucky and just replace the wood in the future and seal it up correctly so no more worries. Right now, use it and enjoy, but know that the longer you wait to find...

    1998 Regal 1700 LSR Advice

Looking closer at the image it might just be bad prep. When boat was manufactured they didn't wipe the glass down and it had some crud on it. As with all painting, making sure it's real clean is 75% of the process. Is that bare wood under the paint or is that fiberglass resin?

    Water leak into bilge

Welcome My first thought is the motor is cracked from freezing. Use your phone and place on video then start moving it all around the area where water is coming from. Might need to also turn on the light to video better
