    follow the manual for setting base timing. put the timing shunt in and set to 1 degree BTDC then CHECK full advance at 2800 RPM. is it within spec? Yes, or No.

    No, first step is remove the drive and inspect the bellows, gimbal bearing, u-joints, and alignment. that task is done every 50 hours or annually if you need to replace the u-joints, you have to open the drive up anyway. no sense wasting gear oil also, Bravo drives dont consume any gear oil...
