    15 minutes to pull the drive one can do it easily, two people may take longer… shouldn't leak at all on the trailer unless water is coming over the gunnel.

    Yes if it sat uncovered orhad water in it yes is possible can tell much from the video need to get in there with a camera mirror etc and see exactly where water is coming in other possibilities from shift bellows and exhaust pipe

    Others will disagree but I am a big fan of 4 blades, on my last two boats improved holeshot stern lift and lowered planning speed. I dont have a big enough boat or go far enough to comment of fuel efficency at crusie etc.

    If the carb has a choke it is a mercarb. If it has no choke it is a TKS. Both share a common lineage from the rochester 2 jet.     I think i depends on the engine . My old 3.0 not long , newer boat has 5.0 takes a bit longer havent timed it but long enough it always makes me worry a bit. I would think there are several gallons in the block , BBC that you have would likely take more to fill the block

    You need to take the drive off split it and pressure test it. Could be from water pump base seal, shift shaft or upper driveshaft seal

    Black max will work fine for a all-around prop. Michigan vortex is similar Quality. Depending on how you want to use it -load of people and gear watersports or cruising you may want to change pitch or blade configuration. Best bet is see how a replacement black max works and go from there.

    Have your manifolds and elbows been inspected or replaced? If you are in salt and havent replaced your manifolds pop the elbows off and look in cooling passages

    When you say you put your finger over plug on back of head where is it ? Is there a core plug on back of head that leaks ?
