    Tie down is not the best but has served me well for the last 6 years that bolt is in the hole to Lock out out braking when reversing take the bolt outand see if the brakes work

    The 3.0 I had in my old boat had about 800 hrs on it and 145 psi compression and I saw the same amount of blow by and oil as you are seeing. I thought it was an issue but had good compression, wouldnt worry about it.

    clogged exhaust is possible if an exhust shutter falls down into the wye pipe. They can make their way into the bellows and restrict exhaust.
