    When placing the jumper on the DLC the rpm should increase and timing is set. Clamp down distributor, shut motor down and remove jumper. Start back up and watch timing, then see if timing advance increases as rpm does

    Don't see it yet to be a ECM issue, but maybe a timing issue. Connect timing light and watch BTDC degrees and 8* and distributor is clamped down Shut motor down and remove jumper Restart motor and let idle Watch timing and increase rpm. Does it advance timing increase or stay the same?

    My guess is this is minimum oil pressure. Most list pressure should be 5 psi for every 1000 rpm, so 4K should show minimum of 20 psi, VP list 26. Having 65 to 75 is good. The gauge may be a bit off, and best way to verify is remove gauge sender and install hand held mechanical gauge

    No difference, choose one that meets the needs and amount of banks. If both Bats come in full charged then only need 2 bank maintenance type, maybe 10 Amp. If one Bat is low, maybe trolling , then maybe 20 to 30 Amp 2 bank. Just search on web for what is needed
