Maybe my turn for new boat time

Its a double wide seat so for 2, and if you don't get the pivot Capt seat, then there is enough room for 3. Here is the used one in Michigan I'm looking at https://www.yachtworld.com/yacht/2021-chaparral-280-osx-8491554/ Called the local Chap dealer and I'm getting a price on new to compare

    2001 honda bf130

Don't know for sure, but would say if that was on a Mercruiser it would be tygon tubing and runs between the carb and fuel pump. If the fuel pump diaphragm starts leaking it sends the excess gas into the carb

    Power Trim Control Panel

Since you do not have the 3 button on the dash I would ignore it, but to advise how it works: Up is trim up Down is trim down To bring the drive all the way UP for trailering you would push Up and up/out at the same time. The 2 buttons are used together to make sure the drive is not trimmed...

Asking But Don't think anyone knows

Yes, still looking I think a 27 would be good enough, but thinking about the 29 Maybe a used 270 with a 8.2 which would have CAT's and pull motor from my cruiser and install in it. 500+ HP in a 27 bowrider Weeee

Asking But Don't think anyone knows

I might have figured it out, Ilmor is listed as joystick control with the 5.3 the 6.2 is not, and there is the twin thing. Its the most expensive but most of the new 290's with Merc package is joystick but its not mentioned

Asking But Don't think anyone knows

ILMOR makes a 6.2 430HP and 5.3 365HP So why is the 5.3 cost more then the 6.2? Seeing this on Formula website

    Adding a Temperature Gauge

Being a Merc look for a Tan colored wire, if not there will need to add one. The typical 10 pin harness has all the wires listed

Start and run Mercury 5.7 on stand

The ECM applies grounds to relay coils to energize them, and this isn't happening. If it was mine I would open the ECM (drill rivets out if needed) and see if it needs to be dried out. If all good then have it tested

Start and run Mercury 5.7 on stand

Submerged that helps I would replace the relays, but could swap them to see if things change. Local auto parts will have the relays that will work the same, just may not look the same. Could also remove the cover off the ECM to see if it needs drying out If it was salt need to do as Scott...

Start and run Mercury 5.7 on stand

ok, Check fuses, there is at least 3 of them When power is applied to pin C does the MPR (main power relay) click? When power is applied is there 12V at the fuel pump? Note, power energizes the MPR which powers up the ECM. The ECM then applies a ground to the FPR which would turn the pump ON...
