    The pump should turn ON while the motor is cranking. Once it starts the key is released and pump shuts OFF until oil pressure builds and then it turns back ON. The time from start to run is very short, but pump should run continiously. If the filter was put in backwards it can cut fuel off...

    Looks like traffic will be bad to deal with it. I looked for parking yesterday and it showed a couple fairly close, but today the closets is 1.5 miles. Not bad bad for a hike but guessing everything including the convention center is "pre book" maybe?

    Figure you might know about any issues with parking at the Miami convention center. They show several outside sites about parking making me think maybe there isn't enough. Then any other issues with getting around that are note worthy

    Yes, remove plug to disable shift interruptor The TBI has an IAC which "should" control idle air flow. The OP mentioned about giving it more throttle and it didn't stay running, or at least I think he said something like that

    Disconnect the plug on the right (has 2 white and 1 black)

    It has been moved The issue I'm having is what parts your talking about If the above is actually what the issue is, then its a control issue and not a Merc one. If the button wont pop out then need to get into the throttle handle
