    Yes, it should have power when key is ON Same supply as to the coil Is this a MPI or carb, serial numbers are best

    For the B3 the Mechanic is correct, so long as the bearing retainer nut is not moved. The retainer nut on the B3 is where the shimming takes place, the carrier just holds the seals That said shims don't need to be changed so long as backlash is correct Also it left hand threads
