    2006 Volvo 5.7 osi-d crank no start

Spark gap should be Blue or White and be able to jump 10mm. Spark should be constant and not intermittent. The tach showing 300 then there is signal. Not sure if CPS is doing this or the Cam sensor. The Cam sensor is on the Dizzy and may not have a cable connected to it. Check for 5V with...

    7.4 gen 6 nightmare

The 5V circuit should be 5V exactly. If your meter is accurate then this will cause all kinds of issues. Fuel pressure should be 43 psi running. Dropping to 35 will not be enough to keep it running within spec. Disconnect the vacuum line at the regulator or plenum to see if pressure...

    2006 Volvo 5.7 osi-d crank no start

Thanks for the number. Your motor doesn't have the VST as I think ripjmk was eluding to, it has the standard high and low pressure pumps Thinking your main issue is lack of spark. Could use the motor scanned for codes, but this would take a Techmate scanner or Rinda software. With cap and...

A mercruiser 4.3l MPI with a low weak idle hard to start

With the IAC at 99% the ECM is trying to increase the rpm. Your compression is low if you gauge is accurate What does the MAP and Temp show? Does it get better when the motor warms up or stay the same?

    Electric power steering

He says its a bit erratic. Happens when stopped getting ready to turn and also sometimes like when pulling into parking space. Seems to have more difficulty "sometimes" when turning right then left, but does it both ways. I'm sure its a sensor and its not energizing the relay that turns on...

    Electric power steering

Right there with ya Joe, I know belt driven but not the electric. There is a relay which turns it on/off (so is my understanding) and it happens at low only. So is the relay working or not, I don't know. Figure ask questions and maybe some young'ens will come and tell us old folks how to test it

    Electric power steering

2013 dodge charger, sons car Car was hit a few years ago on right front fender by a deer. The electric power steering pump is behind the fender. When motor is idling the steering can go stiff (hard to turn) but give it a slight bit of gas, and all is good. Fluid level is ok, so I'm thinking...
