    It will be VP 80w90 gear lube. Before even trying that, remove drive and have it looked at. For the most part in my opinion, the drive needs to be replaced ir full rebuild

    My thought is the scanner that was used (if it was used) may not have updated software. It does have a problem, just don't think its fuel pressure. I would think a water pressure sensor issue only because they fail quite often. Not saying replace it without knowing.

    Its all HP to weight ratio. Lighter the boat the less HP needed

    Think mine (1995 model) was around 20 years old when I first replaced my boots (still looked ok). Drive removed every year for inspection and drive maintenance. Gimbal and U joints are still original.

    According to your serial number the motor doesn't have a fuel pressure sensor. Having a boat heavier causes it to burn more fuel, so may be in the fuel supply side, but just not pressure

    Think your going to need a scanner and have it attached when it goes off again. If its something like low voltage then weird things can happen

    Motor has 555 ECM Not seeing a 2 bp/min for fuel pump or pressure. There is a 2 bp/min for Fuel injector open or short Might be seawater pump open or short What was the code number?

    Depends on which drive you have, do you know? If its a SX look on the top of the drive for a plug which will also be a dipstick.

    The drive is turning inside everytime the motor is running

    As BT mentioned have you checked the drive lube? Or pull the drive and run the motor with the drive off. Connect hose to the thermostat housing

    Dirty hull will loose a few, but with four people aboard I think its tell ya what it will do in the future with loosing 10 mph Boat test had 2 folks and 50 gal fuel and did 50 mph.

    B3's are known to start to leak over time. If it was my drive I would watch it but would look into seal replacement yet. If adding the shower changed it from Black to what it is now, then all good
