    Open the low speed mixture needle 1/4 turn at a time.----Inspect thermostat as they are often missing or stuck open.-----Does spark jump a gap of 1/4" on both leads ?

    Compression on 2 strokes can be and is a mystery to some.----But 100 PSI on this motor is fine !----What other trouble shooting has been done. ?-----Does spark jump a gap of 3/8" on both leads ?----Is the high speed orifice clean ?----Is the fuel pump bladder ( orange bit ) in good shape...

    Put a pulley on your hook .------Bring the cable back to the winch post.----Gives you double the pulling power with the winch you have now.

    I would remove the plastic drainplug plate.------Inspect that.-----Reinstall the 3M sealer 4200 or equivalent.

    The little square pumps were used on 3 HP models and up to the 22 cubic inch 25 HP models.-----A $7.00 diaphragm is all that can be needed to restore the pumping efficiency of these ultra reliable factory pumps.----I would never resort to buying a new one of any kind.

    4 stroke outboards are amazing.-----But I have seen many in the scrap heap.----Too many parts and major repairs can not be done economically.
