    facebook and all the misinformation

both facetube and youbook have the same amount of misinformation. I try steering folks to old truck forums that I am on or hot rod forums or iBoats. however they would rather find a youtube video than get a manual.

Orientation of coil on end of bimetal strip is temperature dependant. Line up pin and coil, loosely clamp, then turn the choke clockwise to line up the marks. At -10 like you mentioned (assuming C not F). It would be about 130-150 degrees off when you first line up the pins

BRP reveals a new style of outboard, Rotax powered, horizontal crankshaft....

jet skis can operate under water for about 10-seconds before the natural boyancy will pop it back to the surface. this is done with a labyrinth style air box and the ability to expel water same technology that allows submarining a jet ski also allows for this low-profile outboard to live life...

these problems dont care what boat you have. however can best be solved remotely on a forum if you let us know what you have for a motor and drive Assuming you have a 5.7 and an alpha drive. You have a possibility of the following things: you are running way rich and that is unburnt fuel...
