    Cap looks ok but compression number s don't. The lowest number should be within 10% of the highest. Even if the 150 is removed and use 145, this says lowest should be no less then 130.5 Yes, I'm thinking head gasket. Most likely when the motor heats up, the pressure gets less. Check the oil...

    High octane gas produces more performance "only" in a high compression motor. To use it in a motor that will run fine with 87 the motor has less hp.     In that case it might be over propped, what pitch is the prop? Have you looked at the plugs to see if they re burning good, as in light brown or cream color?

    Most likely it needs the carb rebuilt, but there is also a issue with the electrical system. Watch the fuel gauge it pegs full then drops to empty and then back up. Might be a bad ground Clean both ends of all battery cables including the grounds (both ends)
