    You run with a timing light.----Observe the flashing light.----If there are spark issues the light will not flash steady.

    Might not be easy to find a drive through charging station.------Locally you would have to disconnect your trailer , charge , hook up again and carry on.

    Two steps to take.-----Look the throttle bodies over very carefully.----Check carburetor bowls for warpage.

    Yes you are.----???----There is no temperature sensor that grounds the spark on the 1979 models !!

    The jets typically have a number on them.----Good luck with this motor as you may need it !!

    Perhaps you are working on your first motor ??----You need to listen !------The high speed jets ( orifice plugs ) are in the carburetor bowls.----Look for them . find them and post the number on them !

    See post #4.----The decals say 115 HP but who knows if it is.-----Is there a disc on the block with a model / serial number ?----Same serial # as the plate on transom bracket?----Have you found the high speed jets in the carburetor bowls ?----What # are they?

    Pressure tank in good condition and with cap closed ?-----Post picture of the magneto.-----Is the oiler wick for magneto cam in place?

    Some will argue.------I suspect that the shift rod height is not set correctly.------Someone tried to adjust up top.-----If it was my motor I would remove lower unit.----Set shift rod height .----Then adjust cable to suit.----Then use a tie wrap to hold it together.-----How did it shift for you...

    Operating the priming bulb ( manual pump ) fills the carburetor bowls.-----And it does not put fuel through the metering circuits.
