    7.4 MPI Fuel pressure regulator/damper?

Having fuel in the vacuum line could mean the cool fuel or the rail regulator could be leaking. I would remove the one on the rail because it would be easier to get to and test

    Fuel delivery head scratcher

With 2 tanks, and each tank feeding 1 motor, and both engines die within a few seconds of each other this would normally be an electrical problem. You did mention (as I understand) your unable to draw fuel from the tank? Agree, the odds would be great to have both antisiphon valves go bad at...

    Rolling torque after prop seals

Would be similar method as the Merc Use a dial indicator type torque wrench and rotate until correct torque is obtained. Not sure about the DP-SM but finding 9-14 in lb for the SX and DPS My manual does show it done the same way

1968 MerCruiser 120 sterndrive water pump

I hope the muffs are attached and water is turned ON before the motor was started Sounds are difficult in writing forum, but the clicking might be from exhaust flappers/shutters. If they are the older metal style they can cause this. With little water exiting the prop hub or exhaust reliefs...

    Welcome Back!

The reason I like that link so much is because you could see if someone got an answer fairly quick. If the OP post again to his own thread it no longer shows up in unanswered nor anywhere else which would be easy to find.

    Fuel delivery head scratcher

So you have a outboard primmer bulb on a inboard motor? If so that's bad news Have a glass inline filter before the carb, more bad news You traced back to the separator filter, but tracing the line going from the tank to the separator, there is nothing but fuel line and not another filter...

    Replacing Porch Post

This winter I'm replacing the decks on on the rental with concrete. Currently have painted 4x4's for the porch's and wanting to replace with something more maintenance free. They make wraps and full load bearing. Don't want to spend a fortune either. Anyone do similar?

    Fuel delivery head scratcher

Can you explain this a bit more? Can get fuel to the pump from a handheld? Can from the inline filter to the carb but nothing from either tank? Some of these boats have 2 filters and one is down low in the bilge forward of the motor. Have you followed the fuel line back to the tank?

If the impeller is not pumping sufficient water then exhaust gases can back up and melt the tube The missing seal can causes issues, but to find out if the drive is sealed, pressurize the drive prior to filling with gear lube. Pressure should be no mor then 10 psi and do rotate the prop and...

Check the gray wire with coil disconnected from harness, and disconnect tachometer, then to determine gray wire is not grounded. Disconnect the shift interrupter If you get power to the coil when key is turned ON, and connections to other wires are good, then I would say it most likely is the...

    PWC Lifting Sling

Bought 4 - 2in wide, 4ft long lifting slings from US Cargo The slot on the bracket is so tight I had to cut away the vinyl to get sling eye thru. Debated on to push eye through the slot and use a bolt of some sort to keep eye being pulled back thru, or loop the sling back thru the eye. The...
