    I suggest you drive it to a scale. if the boat is 100# heavier or more, you have water coming in that large gash in the bottom of the boat. rubber mallet and beating on the boat will show nothing Im with Brian in post #3, willing to bet that the stringers and transom are wet or rotten.

    a fiberglass antenna is usually just a wire, a connector, and a piece of brass tube inside the antenna of a certain length. at least that is all I find in them when I forget to put the antenna down for bridges......

    if you are going over relief, then pull the caps off the rods and see if there is a stop tube in the cylinders. some VP's sold to Cobalt had a plastic stop-tube added to not hit the swim platforms

    correct, do not insert a dry yoke into a dry coupler. a bit of lube always required.......

    for the A1G2 1.94:1 is whats available, however close enough to 2:1 for the 3.0 that its called 2:1 V6's and small V8's at altitude get the 1.62:1 to a 1.81 typical 5.7 and 6.2 V8's get a 1.47

    it takes a bit to find hoses that will fit. the Gates molded hose catalog has pictures and dimensions. Volvo Penta does sell many motors with a half system. Never looked if they sell the complete kit as an aftermarket however unless your motor is brand new, you cant just slap on a heat...

    If you do not chase every passage with a bit of fishing line or fine wire to ensure its clean, there may be "zero change" because the passages are still plugged

    After you replace the coupler, remember to pull the drive every year to inspect the u-joints and check alignment every year

    look at the 4th sticky down at the top of the forum. suggest you go thru links 14, 15, 19, 2, 3, 4a, and 4b in that order you are missing gel, foam, etc. since the fiberglass supply house is local, suggest you buy what you need when you need it. in Florida, resin will kick quickly...
