used a multi-tool and 60 grit to remove the love bug carcasses.... touched the areas up with a brush, made the repairs proud so I can sand down
here is a bit after buffing with the cutting compound. need to go back over with the finishing compound a bit.

The windshield and hatches on my boat were sealed with grey butyl tape. It remained flexible and kept things sealed for over 30 year

transferred the graphics to white poster board to help me lay out the fine-line tape that arrived from Amazon. the poster board is cut to shape the hull to cap seam so I can tape in place, and transfer to the hull easy. this will ensure that I lay out both sides the same...
