    Update!!! Put everything back new with OEM. It started so using automobile parts its the best thing to do. Thanks for the input !!

    Put everything on new again, except coil. Have one coming. Yes everything checks to be ok. I have another boat here with same system it all checks the same as this one im working on.

    Purple wire should be the only power going to the coil? Correct? Unless you have a tach and gray wire will be hot.

    Good morning, ok i have disconnected the purple wire and white wire. Still no spark. Put another new module on this morning with another new rotor. Still nothing!! Im getting parts from part store they probably fit a car engine would that make any difference? I see all the time other people say...

    Yes I contacted the two wires together. Its oem HEI . Just don’t understand,it’s simple system.

    Does anyone know on the voltage rating on all the wires? I know the purple wire is 12 volt. But does the white and yellow wire have a resistor in the wire? Wiring diagram doesn’t show any type of grounded wire.

    Yes the throttle is electric but it’s within specs with the potentiometer to lever to engine. Yes Guardian is 0 says it’s never gone into guardian mode. Thanks

    Oh and the book specs reason I found it saying in spec because this sn# has low compression throttle bodies on it. You can install on some other sn# has well. Just FYI

    Bets me. I used two different gauges on test read the same. Pull heads off looked ok By any means it’s not new no more.

    Update on engine. Running great runs 68 mph . FYI none of the info on here was the problem. New primer bulb and hose assembly was bad. The plastic inside the hose was restricted hose Thanks for the advice Glad I didn’t call motor junk!
