    No has been setting for years. I don’t know any history on the boat. We changed gas again with different oil mix. . Still the same. It runs very well with no load on it. Soon as you put it into gear and prop engaged it dies I pulled lower unit off and checked it out and all seems good

    Hello have a 1984 Johnson 150 V6. Replaced all fuel hoses,fuel filter, rebuild carburetors,replaced spark plugs,drained fuel tank and added new fuel, replaced primer bulb, and checked fuel pickup tube screen. Timing is 8 degrees at idle and 32 at 5000 rpm. Engine runs great without a load on it...

    Well here’s where I’m at! Pulled steering cooler, this type doesn’t have small holes. It has 1” hole through it. I haven’t found anything that would cause this problem. So I’m replacing everything that has to do with suction. I’ll let you know

    Have removed all hoses and looked through them all clear no holes I think tomorrow I’ll remove steering cooler to to make sure pulled mine out looks like new
