    I've been meaning to add these stiffeners to the portion of the top plate that will extend out beyond the swim deck. I finally got them done. . . Also ground out a dry spot on the starboard side panel and re-glassed it. . . One more layer of glass on the transom, then I'll make the splash wells.

    Odds and ends today . . . Fixed some dry areas on the starboard side panel Added the 5th layer of tabbing to the engine stringer/transom joint Added stiffeners to the top plate 'wings' Tomorrow will be transom finishing day . . . Right now I am splitting time between the extension bracket...

    I don't know how this happened, but for some reason, I have no 1708 cloth left, and about 15 yds of 1808 . . . :unsure::cautious: I thought I was using up 1808 like a bad boy . . . but maybe not. I'll just use the 1808 on a 45˚ angle and call it good. :p

    Splashwells . . . A unique aspect of the design is that there are stringers directly in line where the engines will mount, as well as stringers to either side. Installing the splashwells seems to be a bit of a challenge given that here will be little/no access to the underside of the wells...
