    how can i get my sx leg up more

    I need to get my sx out drive leg up higher for when i am bringing it around on the trailer. I have no over ride switch on mine. Glastron sx 175 with sx out drive sx (m) i think.

    how often do u need to replace the prop seal

    I hav just noticed that my gear box is leaking oil from behind the prop. I replaced the prop seal 2 years ago. Do these go often I have a volvo penta 4.3 with an sx outdrive.

    gear oil leaking from behind the prop

    Yesterday I was out on my boat and when i was parking up in the marina i could see rainbow colors coming from the leg. so i hoped in to look and its coming from behind the prop. I replaced the prop seal about 3 years ago so I think its coming from the same place..Do these break down much also...

    cone clutch big job????

    shift trouble help please

    gonna get a second battery

    new to the boating thing just drained my gear oil.....

    wont go into forward gear until revs to 1300 rpm

    when I put my boat into forward position it does not kick into gear till i bring the revs up to 1300 or above.What could be causing this.Low oil in my outdrive, streched cable? Thanks Colm

    I hope to be changing the oil on my boat for the first time, and i do not know which oil to buy...I am from Ireland and the oil we have here is duel grade... 15w 30, 10w 40, 5w 30. all either fully synthetic or semi synthetic or just mineral oil.
