    It is a 2019. Never had an issue until they did the recall and flashed the computer. I was told to let the adaptive learning take time. Well it has been 8 weeks since and it still does the very delayed 3-4/3-5 upshift.

    Mercruiser 3.0 reliability and overall maintenance?

    I had a Searay 170 with the 3.0 alpha 1gen 1. Top speed with me by myself was 34-36 mph by gps. Fuel burn was 4 -5 gal per hour running hard or pulling skiers. Very fun boat, good running engine. Make sure you flush engine every time you pull it out of the water if you operate in brackish or salt.

    Son has a new to him boat. It has a 120 HP Mercury Force 120HP outboard. When looking at the Boatinfo site, I cant find a 120 manual for the outboard. Is there a difference in the Mercury and the Mercury Force for parts and maintenance?
