    74 evinrude 50hp prop help

    okay, my new-to-me 1974 evinrude 50hp currently has a 13x19 prop on it, but its pretty dinged up. i have a 13 3/4 x 15 prop that came off a 73 evinrude 50hp that has a new hub and is in alot better shape. can i use this prop? how will it effect performance?

    How to test overheat alarm?

    motor is a 1966 500. Last weekend while working on it, I noticed that it was not peeing and the telltale hose was pretty hot, as was the motor. No alarm ever went off. How can I test it?
