    I've had this issue since owning the rig. Starts well but kinda shakes,feels like it's being held back until i start to get the boat moving,then smoothens out.its always done this. new issue...... The engine also will,at idle, rev up rpms on its own,then cut out like a dead short for a split...

    Yes, mine is smaller vro pump.it works by the diaphragm sliding back and forth, one side being fuel, the other side being oil. As stated above, not a big fan of vro, too many things can go wrong.i like the simple KISS (keep it simple stupid) method in life. starts poorly, smokes lots,won't...

    UPDATE.....we have found water from a poor sealing gasket,leaking from the large side plate that has all the bolts through it..not sure what that cover plate is called. But...would water leaking from a gasket cause all these issues above?

    Looks to me like the fuel line in behind this "cam" could be pinched off when the cam goes full travel...its all we could find so far...your thoughts,??
