    1970 merc 7.5 coil choices?

    engine ser.#2957779 I keep dropping spark on one cyl. once my engine warms up. Ive been told i need a coil. The coils listed for this engine are astronomically priced. Would other coils work that are physically the same. There are coils as low as $30 that look the same. thanks in advance

    fuel tank retrofit..truck plastic tank

    just wondering what everyones thoughts are on using a 1996ish plastic fuel tank on my boat as the area where my removable metal tanks is quite low.     Question about two test props 90hp johnson/16.5ft fibertech boat

    Ive tried two different props on my 90hp johnson ..the boat is a 16.5 fibertech. The prop that came with the boat (14x17) gave me 23mph @3000rpm.....33mph @4100rpm...and 44mph @ 4900rpm trimmed. So i swapped the props and put on a 13 1/2 x 17 today and got only 35mph tops and was reving @...
