    Storing boat in garage

    I put my boat in the garage with the bow and cockpit covers on it. Now I am wondering if it would be better uncovered. I thought the covers would keep the dust off but will they keep moisture and gas fumes in?

    Crazy tach

    My tach on my 2005 caravelle is very inconsistent. It usually seems to read really high. It likes 4000rpm but when I throttle up will come down some and as I continue to throttle up will go back up. Would this ba a shorted wire, sending unit or in the gauge?

    Composite stringers

    I recently bought a 2005 Caravelle 207. Are there any advantages of wooden stringers and transom over composit? Will composite last forever or will it also rot? I can find no wood in this boat should it last longer than a boat with wood?

    What do you do when you get home?

    After a day of swimming, tubbing etc. What do you do to your boat when you get home. I generally remove all cushions, open all hatches, remove drain plug, hang lifejackets etc up and put it in the garage.
