    2000 Bayliner Capri 1850 Mercruiser 4.3l alpha one Gen 2 Replace my water pump a few months ago and while changing the oil I noticed the bolts for the water pump seems rusty, is this a common issue and what should I do? Replace bolts with Stainless steel one?

    Personally I’ve only ran it in lakes, but i’m also the third owner so no telling what it’s been threw.

    Yeah i see now, my kit didn’t come with a new seal and the old one was tore and fell out probably due to that slide tool. I order a new seal and i’ll just reuse the tool.

    Bayliner Capri 1850 Mercruiser 4.3l Alpha one gen 2 Was taking the lower unit off to replace the impeller and i noticed 3 piece of what looks like a rock and 1 piece of aluminum casting from somewhere.

    Bayliner Capri 1850 Mercruiser 4.3l Alpha one gen 2 Was pulling trim wires for my new trim sender and limiter and notice a cut wire on top of my coil pack. Trying to figure out what it was, boat seems to run fine.
