    last trip was 15 miles and it burned about 5.5 gallons.... i would say thats normal if i was runnig wide open but but i didnt, i cruised doing aprox 4500RPMS with the motor trimmed up.... carbs have just been rebuild, getting ready to change the spark plugs and wires... timing @ WOT is correct...

    pegged water press gauge when turning

    i was trimmed half way on the trim gauge doing about 4500-5000 rpms.. looked at the gauge and the pressure pegged... once i got back on straight it went back to 20 psi.... i didnt see doing this any other time... is it because the water inlet on the lower unit is taking water+air?
