    On the impeller, which way does the vanes go? looking down on the motor the flywheel turns clock wise. Does the vanes turn left and trail the rotation or do they turn right and lead the rotation. just turning it impeller over would change the vanes direction??Thanks john

    85-115 carb Question

    On a type II carb (2 berrel ) on 85-115 there is a hole at the top in between the two throats on the intake side that looks like it goes onto the carb further back. What is it for?? or what does it do ? thanks (about 3/8 dia.)

    115 hard start

    1973 115 ,went thru carbs and coils and new power pak, runs great after it starts. wont start cold,no mater how much ball pumping and choke holding. does not have idle increase lever. Only way to start is to shoot quick start into carbs and hold advance arm ahead a little.Once it warms it'll...

    115 hair puller 1974 evenrude

    At top end the motor drops off then picks up alternatly evry 10 sec.or so. New parts include ; power pac,1 coil ,400.00$ carb rebuild,spark plugs.could 1 coil be falling off at high end and not otherwise and would check out o.k.at lowerspeeds.or is there still an issue with fuel.thanks
