Just thought I'd share a nice photo.

Most Ice Skating here, is done on Rinks. Lakes and Rivers really don't have Ice that is good for Skating. I iced fished as a kid, but it has been about 55+ yrs since I did that. 50+ since I even fished. Since then, when in the Seafood section of a Supermarket, I would hand someone a Fish or...

Add tilt and trim to 1969 85hp Evinrude?

Those are your Options. There were a lot of Changes made to the Transom Bracket, Swivel, Midsections and Motor Mounts between 1969 and 1973, when the First Gen of Power Trim was offered, and even more changes happened by the time the 2nd Gen of Power Trim was introduced in 77 on the 140hp and in...

Add tilt and trim to 1969 85hp Evinrude?

If you want to add Power Trim to a 1969 Evinrude, a C&C is pretty much the only way to do so, except for doing what Mc Tool suggested https://thmarinesupplies.com/en-ca/collections/cmc-tilt-and-trim/products/cmc-pt-130-tilt-and-trim-for-up-to-130-hp

Should I change prop pitch/ go to stainless.

With the 19, mine was turning 5500 and the speedo was reading about 49-50mph. The I6 115 used 2:1 from 72 on. In 71 it had 25:14 ratio according to the Brochure(could be a Typo though)

Should I change prop pitch/ go to stainless.

I really don't see the purpose of adding a Jackplate on a small V Hull, but it is your choice. Raising the Engine often reduces Chine Walking. I am assuming you have the inline 6 115. WOT Range is 5000-5500rpm. One thing to keep an eye on is, making sure the Engine is not being starved of Water...

    22' pontoon prop question.

I remember spraying Coil Cleaner in the Condenser Coils, then blasting them with combo of Air and Water. That stuff was an Acid if I remember, but no where near as strong as the ones used to clear Urinals As for the Photos, "Attach Files" works for me, but the MPs and/or the Resolution can't be...

    22' pontoon prop question.

If you are hitting the Rev Limiter, you definitely need more Pitch. If you are experiencing loss of Bite, as you trim up, your engine might be too high for the Prop you are running. A Prop with more Cup might be be better suited as they tend to grip the water better. Getting pic over the Transom...

    Compression

I am one of those who has NO use for SeaFoam You could get some Power Tune/Engine Cleaner/ CRC's GDI Intake Valve & Turbo Cleaner, remove the Spark Plugs. With the engine tilted up, spray some into each cylinder, let it sit a while, rotate the engine a 1/2 rev and repeat.
