    1995 Crownline 202BR Restore

We used to have a set of mold for the little GW Invaders. The bosses used to work for them. The owner sold them a few years ago.

    Triton 175 rear deck removal

I'm not exactly sure what style livewell you have, but many are plastic ones that have machine screws securing them to the casting deck. If this is the case for you, open the lid above the livewell and feel around the the livewell ceiling for the nuts.

Doing the flake on the Ranger now. This time, instead of blacking out the bodywork under each color as I go, I gelled the whole spot yesterday so I could just sand it and flake over. I don't know why I never thought to try that, I was just taught to do it the other way and always did that. This...

    Triton 175 rear deck removal

Lift up and get a feel for where it's held down, then poke around with a pick for an eternity until you find it. Since you're recarpeting anyway, why not just rip the carpet up from the casting deck? Have you taken the livewell bolts out? We have a Triton in now, but it's front and rear decks...

If you're on android, look at the top right of your camera screen. It probably says 64M, tap it and it will change to 12M. It's the resolution of the pictures you're taking, 12 is still perfectly visible and will upload here. Also, you can go into your photo gallery, bselect the picture you...

    Triton 175 rear deck removal

Sometimes, the rear pedestal seats have a bar going all the way down to the inner hull for support. You may need to seperate that. I've also seen the decks themselves with these supports.

1994 Starcraft Super Fisherman 170 Rebuild Help

You definitely need some way to hold the lids when the last screws come out. They can get pretty heavy, and trying to hold the lid in one hand and the drill in another is asking to slip and scratch something. Can you strap them up to exposed rafters or something?

We have one at the shop. About 10 years ago, there was a guy wiping with and flushing paper towels down the toilet. Boss said it clogged it up. Who would flush rubber gloves anyway?

Productive day yesterday. I sanded and buffed the waverunner and put it back together, then started on the Ranger I'm doing next. Geound, glassed, took some stuff off, and got the lids ready to take off. Just a few screws left to hold then until I get some help this morning. Then I went...

1994 Starcraft Super Fisherman 170 Rebuild Help

Here's a starting point, take off all of the lids. Lable each one, keep the screws in a labeled cup or ziplock. Use two people, one to hold the lids while you take them off. It's your project, so give the helper the easier task.

1994 Starcraft Super Fisherman 170 Rebuild Help

You're just going to have to dig into it yourself and figure out where everything is. Boats aren't like cars, there are no manuals or parts diagrams. I've been tearing them apart and fixing them for 12 years, others much longer. Every one is like that. We can help with more specific questions...

It's not really too complicated. Take pictures of absolutely everything, lable stuff well, and check in if you get stumped.

Ikon was moved into the wash bay yesterday to wait for a few parts. I started on a small spot on a waverunner, and one side of the trim for the overhead door was coming off so I had to screw that back on. I hate philips screws, stripped like five of them.
