    Up date on my troubles, I went through the wiring and found this on the harness going to the motor. I could not find the exact fitting, so I wired it with bullet type connectors. Tried the motor, and could here the motor clicking at first, after trying a few times ( stern drive did not move)...

    Thank you for the reply, but where I live we have no such thing as Towing Membership, on the East coast of Newfoundland, here if you break down your going up on the clifts ,and chances are you will not survive, so my thinking on a kicker motor is to give me a chance to get to safe anchorage...

    I have a 26 ft regal cabin cruser with a swim deck, I'm looking to I stall a kicker motor, trying to find out what size I can use and what kind of weight the swim deck can hold . Also the best type of bracket for the job. I use my boat in the Atlantic ocean, if that matters lol Cheers

    Hi Bruceb58, Thanks for the reply, I don't think my SX-M drive has a vent plug, it's a duel prop and the prop's have to come off to drain and fill then use the dip stick to get your level ???????????
