    Truck for towing

No I don’t want a WD hitch. So when the specs of the truck list a WD hitch that’s what they recommend? I didn’t realize I’d that’s the case.

    Truck for towing

Hello, I have a 25-foot cruiser that weighs 4300 Lbs and the trailer probably weighs 1000 Lbs. The truck I have now is a 2010 F150 4.6L V8 with a towing capacity of 5500Lbs . I'm looking for a new to me truck and came across a 2019 GMC Canyon SLT 3.6L V6 with a tow capacity of 7600Lbs...

    Draining the block

Ok I just found a diagram. The blue petcock drains are on the block . The brass plugs are the manifold drains. I’ll need to go back and drain the manifolds. I filled all the hoses with pink antifreeze.

    Draining the block

On a Volvo Penta 5.7 L I take the hoses off the thermostat housing and drain them. I also open the blue petcock valves on the manifold. Is it necessary to open the brass plugs on the ends of the manifolds as well?

    Leaking steering actuator.

Hello, I have a 2001 5.7 L Volvo Penta with a leaking steering actuator. Very common problem I hear. I got the actuator removed today. 5-star marine in Florida offers a rebuild service for $ 450.00 plus parts. Or I can order the new seal kit for $ 75.00 and do it myself. Has anyone bought...

    Snap in carpet

I want to replace my snap in carpet. What type of carpet is used for this? Any sources I can check? I’m thinking of buying the material and making them myself. I know you can get a special tool that attaches to a sewing machine to sew on the banding on the boarders.

    Won’t stay running

Ok. So I exposed the 1st diode coming from the alternator going to the fuel pump relay. What do I do? Just expose both end and do a continuity test? And where can I get diodes? I think the guy in the video said 12 volt 3 ohms

If I find that diode how do I test it? Scott said there is a diode test on a multimeter. Mine doe not have that. Can’t I do a resistance test on it? Is this a common problem? Would this cause me to lose power at the helm back in June? And what about the melted relay socket?

    Won’t stay running

    Won’t stay running

Hello, I have a 2001 5.7l GS. It won’t stay running unless the key is held on. I have 12 volts at the ignition switch on the red battery wire. I have 12 volts on the purple ignition wire when the switch is in the run position. I don’t have any voltage on the yellow Solenoid wire while in the...
