    Just gonna keep following up in case this helps someone else later on. The pin on the CDI that feeds the pink wire to the alarm on the remote is grounded full time. Doesn't matter if the sensors are plugged in or not. So I'm now assuming defective CDI. Have a good used one on the way from eBay...

    If you're on that puller with an impact wrench it's hard to imagine the flywheel not coming off. Are you going too easy on 'er? Pb is way better than wd for penetrating, better still is Kroil.
