    Thanks for that. I have some quickleen and quickare on the way. So in terms of mineral vs synth blend as long as it's FC it's all good? The overkiller in me wants to go with the blend, so is that a matter of personal preference, or is this engine fine with either?

    In conclusion, it is an 8-pin. Got it here last night. Ordered all the general service stuff to get her in tip top, carb kits, impeller, oils, etc. Time will tell and we shall see! Pics for fun. Clean in the inside, outside meh, but I'm not in it for the looks.

    Fuel running out of carb when primer bulb is squeezed. Cleaned my carbs and the issue persists.

    Sounds like maybe the float/needle got positioned in a way that it's not properly seating when the bowl is full, bent float arm, bad needle/seat, something along those lines.

    I don't know yet because I'm going to look at/get it tomorrow. I'm trying to have a remote here by Friday if possible, so need time to order. I figured there was a standard number of pins for that motor? But I can't find any reliable info to that end, and I was thinking someone here might know.
