    1986 Force 15 hp Cough

    Hi, I have a 1986 Force 15 hp that has been a great motor for me. There's only one adjustable jet on the carburetor. The engine runs excellent at high speed but when it idles it coughs. It seems to me that when I adjust the jet to rid the cough, I trade off high end performance. Any ideas? J

    Hi, I have two engines that I need help identifying. Scott Attwater serial number 473154970. And, a Sea Flyer (?) G6LLGS - 65116. The inky reason I suspect Sea Flyer is because I got a Sea Flyer fuel tank with the engine. And, then of course, is there anywhere I can find parts? Thanks, J

    Hi, I've got a 50ELPTEFI lower unit that's leaking so i have it apart to replace the seals. By mistake I pulled the shift shaft out of the shift control cam down within the bullet nose. I have lost the position index of the splines. Can anyone tell me how to restore the index? Thanks, J
