    that is a drain hole for the shift shaft cavity. water from there could mean a leaking water pump /impeller housing/etc

    Check to see if it coming in from a hole directly under the inmputshaft. If yes ,the water inlet O ring is damaged /dislodges and water is being forced into the main bellow

    If the pic of the impeller also has the front pully it looks like the rotation is backwards. pump and pully rotate clockwise for a standard rotation engine

    Is this the same drive that came off and was any work done to it? Did you check the alignment with an alignment bar? Is the length of the inputshaft the same?
