This boat will not see temps below 40, only time it is wet is when it is being used. I bought it as a stored indoors boat when not in use will continue that.
I do know this you could put a much bigger motor on the back. With that transom and sturdy build the boat was rated for a 35 hp. I used to have a Deep C that was kinda close to what you have except the steering was in the front.

New tradition born at breakfast this morning, grandson asks me if I would take him for a rip down the lake again when he was done eating. I took them out in the new power and they love the hole shot and go fast down the lake. I will never refuse when the boys ask go for a morning rip down the lake.
