    I am old school I use a write in the rain bound notebook for every boat and keep manual notes. A boat journal with vital info and records.

    I do not worry about fuel level, I use startron to treat fuel and add a little extra to the tank before I drive the boats over to the landing when I pull the boats for the season.

    Pontoon has been parked since the party weekend when the pontoon was driven the length of the lake with the anchor down, resistance was felt so full throttle with occasional "beeping" from the motor. During boat maintenance discovered an overfill of oil better known as gas in the oil.

    When ever the dock guy calls and schedules the dock coming out the boats get put away. Late September early October, have to get the leaf peeping cruises in.

    Like any issue it can be easily resolved just takes $. Talk to local boat dealers they would probably sell you one and install it for a price.

    I got around to finding storage for the boat, it will not sit outside when not in use. Feel like a fool for not looking into it earlier. 8 miles from my house 10 x 24 self storage garage $75 per month.

    Yes a group that got in seems to be a bit too progressive in their perceived role. Let the dues cover lake monitoring and sampling. I am not paying for an outhouse at the public landing, or parking the boat not causing a wake after 4:00 pm.

    I am excited this morning. I broke out a new blank book for the boat to record hours etc, notes on operation. 10:00 have an appointment at the closest storage facility, the boat will be stored inside when not being used, moored on the weekends. I am going to be a little more protective of this...

    Went with a 1990 ProStar 190 less than 500 hours on the engine single owner. Now just have to covert the old Lund Tyee back into a fishing boat.
