    Yeah, it is integrated. Not with the gasket but the lower portion of the cover Everybody loves the easy way but it's not always the case. If you really want to replace the timing cover gasket you should remove the engine and do a complete reseal proper

    Oh, well it's a ford flat tappet. Feel free to run it at idle to wot. Again, as long as you have broken it in you'll be fine. But don't run it at idle to wot. Cuz it's an engine and will fail if you use it?

    Alpha one, noise from gimbal bearing area, new gimbal bearing, no water intrusion. Stumped!

    The alignment bar isn't used to install the gimbal bearing. There is a three piece tool for proper installation that requires a lot more than tapping. I use a 48 Oz hammer to install gimbal bearings then use the alignment bar to finish It's possible you did not seat the bearing fully and...
