They appear to be...or are close. Picture it hard to know for sure. I'm sure you've seen this but just in case

84 Evinrude bogging full throttle surge

A little more info, you say 1984 30hp Evinrude (25 cap) is there a model number on the clamp? You say choke plate has been removed. That should have a manual primer system....is it there? Your problem could be there. Here is a description of the alignment ring and the most common things that go...

    Yamaha 90TRL propeller issue

I think you can save the nut by using a drill bit to cut the old rusty pin.

    Yamaha 90TRL propeller issue

Tough one. The only thing I can think of, is to cut or shear off each end so you can get the nut off, remove the prop and then have the clearance to drill it out.

84 Evinrude bogging full throttle surge

Just re-read all of your posts. You've done everything really...only thing I can think of is you haven't looked at the reed valves, or maybe you have. Frustrating I'm sure.

2000 Johnson 15hp wont pump water

Ask your repair guys if the pulled the powerhead from the mid-section...nobody would if they thought the draw tube was okay. It really can't be anything else other than a crack somewhere and it would be burning water or leaking it. That's my 2 cents

84 Evinrude bogging full throttle surge

Rmillis, Just a shot in the dark here. When you worked under the flywheel installing coil and such, did you use the omc alignment tool? Those have to be set just right for flywheel clearance.

2000 Johnson 15hp wont pump water

The only other thing it could be is the draw tube has a hole in it or the grommet at the top has failed. Powerhead would have to come off to verify unless someone else has a trick that I don't know of.

1995 Johnson 70hp starts then dies

Just throwing this out there. VRO, most people back when I had one anyway would just plug off the oil line and then run 50 to 1 in the tank. In fact omc included the plug. People are now installing regular pumps because they are much cheaper and because they don't trust the vro's. What I don't...

    No helm power - 2018 Yamaha 704 w/ 2021 F150LB 4 stroke

Yes, I have the auto circuit breaker going to the dash or main positive bus bar. Every three years or so I have to cut them out because they get all corroded up. My harness failed twice. Right where it goes into the motor because of the steering action going back and forth. 1st time while...

    Compression Test without a battery?

I have a remote starter as well and I put one clip to + battery and the other clip where the signal wire comes from the harness. As far as the impact, while I've never done it, I see people doing it online and with all the spark plugs out I can't see a reason to not do it but with three negative...

    Compression Test without a battery?

You could use an air impact gun on the flywheel nut.

    No helm power - 2018 Yamaha 704 w/ 2021 F150LB 4 stroke

This may sound stupid but do you have super clean battery connections? I recently had problems at my trim and tilt. When I tested power at the engine I had 12.7 volts so I figured must be t&t relay or worse. Messed around for two days before I tried to start it. No start. Put my meter back on...

What do the spark plugs look like after the no start happens?

1995 Johnson 70hp starts then dies

Did the motor sit with fuel in it for a long time? Sounds like the vro was removed?

Yamaha 100 hp 2000s flywheel locked up

Overall what he is saying doesn't make sense. Here is what happens. If the gearcase is not removed periodically and greased, the driveshaft gets stuck in the bottom of the powerhead (crankshaft). Usually means the motor becomes a parts motor. Flywheel or oil pump has nothing to do with it.
