    The decals / marketing is the difference on this motor.-----All the same parts as the 6 / 8 HP models.

    Tested a 150 Mercury on a light hull once.-----Ran at 57 MPH and boat started to chine walk.----Put the 115 Evinrude back on and boat ran at steady 54 MPH.

    That hole on the leading edge of the gearcase was put there to feed water pressure to a speedometer.----That hole under the cover should have a plug in it.----That hole was used to drill the passageway.
