I agree with above. Build a stroker with a SCAT crank and rods, rortec heads, and LCQ style pistons and have it ready to swap when your motor gets a bit more worn
Surprised at your low compression numbers with such low hours. Would suggest a leak down test
@Scott06 I have about 5/8 of an inch between the marmon clamps and the end of the ring. So I would need a mini O2 sensor with an m10 thread or smaller, or I have to bore thru the inner and outer water jacket, weld up the inner and outer tubes to the stainless bung

I am toying with pulling my H-pipe cross-over and modifying it for an AFR meter unless I can find a thread in small diameter Wide-Band O2 sensor where I can drill in-situ...... as I am currently trimming my AFR by tweaking the air bleeds and the emulsion bleeds on...

marinization stuff like drive specific kits, you buy from the OEM
things like deck hardware, radios, etc. stuff that wont sink your boat or strand you if it fails can be bought from a chinesium source.
Aluminum does burn. once the Diesel or Jet A on the yacht gets going, the aluminum will burn right down to the waterline.

Get the correct molded hose. There is a 150 degree loop at the top of the hose, then the hose runs along the oil pan rail to the front of the engine and does a zig-zag between the belts and to the raw water pump.

All SBC heads fit all standard deck blocks from 1956 to today. Just get the right combustion chamber
