    Call Keith at Cruisers in customer service if you need boat related stuff I think the Baron was an older hull that was retired in 85 or 86 Cruisers used a lot of balsa core (even to this day) so check your stringers and transom

    regarding hydro locking..... you are OK there. you have a volvo (not thru-prop exhaust) so your chance of hydrolocking is so signifcantly less than a mercruiser with thru-prop exhaust.

    its 32 years old that is a lot of moist air to breath in the vents, condense into water, and start deteriorating the foam. there is a reason that standard hollow 'toon logs are so prevalent. yes, the foam is structural allowing for less money to be spent on aluminum sheet.
