    there is no such thing as "standard" however if you are mixing vintages of motors and y-pipes, you have to be careful. post pictures of what you have. be specific about vintage of components.

    the standard screw is a #8. they make snaps with #10 screws and snaps without screws so you can use a machine screw and a nut if you can get access to the backside. get a snap without a screw and use a machine screw, backing washer and a nut. if you cant get access, try the #10 screw snaps...

    No. Pump throttle once, set to 1/4 throttle, turn key and it's running. Back RPM to 1000. Wait 2 minutes go boating. The Holley HP850 carb I am running never had a choke horn or provision for one Then again I grew up running Holley carbs without chokes in Wisconsin.

    You will need a long block (complete with Vortec Heads) The small chambers and small valves in the 305 heads do not work well on a 350 or larger motor. And if you put the big valve heads on a 305, you shroud the valves
