    If you have 195 to 200 psi on all cylinders, your gauge is off by 50 psi. New motor is 150 psi What is your base timing set to?

    set the dwell with a meter. 32 degrees +/- 2 set the timing 4 degrees BTDC set the idle in-gear while in the water at 500-600

    Pull HX Empty oil Fill HX with gas or other cheap solvent Dispose of gas/oil Use dawn dish soap and hot water to clean remainder residue If the engine cooling water jacket is full of oil, more cleaning to do

    bad ideas the rubber plug is for row boats. if you take the garboard plug out every trip, it wont corrode in.

    I just took the old glue off and then applied new glue. I dont think you need the additional steps unless you plan on fairing and gel coating.

    the impeller had to fill the motor up before it would exit. that is about 15-20 seconds if the block was empty
