prior to our CNC quilters, our seamstresses used china markers to draw the pattern and sew by hand
then they switched to UV lights and marking pens
then we purchased from the outside from Veada (former mattress quilter). the panels are 3 yards (51 x 120)

my guess is your vent line is too long and it has a dip in it. simply disconnect it from the fill assembly, and see how much extra line you have.
then trim as needed.
I say do a tuck-n-roll like 'kogs pic. that involves cutting the laminated vinyl into strips, sewing the panel, then cutting the panel to size and sewing into the cover.
the issue with quilt panels is they leak water thru. However most boat builders are going that way vs the older RF quilted...
If you need a 4.3, any 1996 and later 4.3 motor from a truck or a forklift would work. You are only using the shortblock as the waterpump, accessories, electrics, manifolds and induction must be marine

Attwood purchased garelick a while back (I think 4 or 5 years ago) , sold off the upholstered seat side to TACO Metals and Patrick industries January of this years and kept the hardware side.
